What to expect
Anti-wrinkle injections, using botulinum toxin are a popular cosmetic treatment used to temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles & fine lines on the face.
The treatment involves injecting a purified formula into specific facial muscles, which causes them to relax & smooth out wrinkles.
The procedure is relatively quick & minimally invasive with little to no downtime required.
Results typically last for several months before a follow-up treatment is needed. Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used on the forehead, around the eyes, and between the eyebrows & can also be used to treat other conditions such as excessive sweating & migraines.
